DNS Records

Under the hood, DNS is a global, hierarchical system of retrieving and caching machine-readable records from authoritative sources, used for identifying, routing, authenticating and otherwise describe resources on the internet.

As an owner of an online business, you will need at least a passing familiarity with many types of DNS Records, including A Records, CName records, MX records, TXT records, NS Records. See also TTL.
