Under the hood, DNS is a global, hierarchical system of retrieving and caching DNS records from authoritative sources. As an owner of an online business you will need at least a passing familiarity with many types of DNS Records, including: A Records, CName records, MX records, TXT records, NS Records. See also TTL.
